The new Kobra 260 TS S5 Strip Cut Shredder comes with a Touch Screen Panel which can be used for activating the controls. When some transparent material has to be shredded, you simply have to keep your finger on the "forward" button for 5 seconds and the Shredder will operate for 30 seconds. The Kobra 260 TS S5 has a built-in Electronic Power Control mechanism which monitors and displays the shredding load. This allows the user to set the controls for optimized performance. The shredder comes with new blade edges which allow the shredder to handle higher loads with low power consumption.
The new Kobra 260 TS S5 has the most advanced energy saving system in the world known as "Energy Smart". The shredder puts itself in Standby mode if it is left idle for 8 seconds. To start it again, all you have to do is to insert some material in it and it will start automatically. When the shredder is left idle for hours, it disconnects itself from the mains power supply. The Energy Smart light is also turned off. The Kobra 260 TS S5 has a "Super Potential Power System" which consists of a metal chain drive system and sturdy steel gears which are highly durable and reliable. The shredder contains two sets of cutting knives for separate shredding of papers, CDs and Credit cards. The shredded material is then separated into two bins.
When too much material is added to the Shredder, it puts itself in Automatic Reverse mode. The Kobra 260 TS S5 comes with a Metal Detection System known as "Shred Guard". If a metal object is inserted into the shredder accidentally, it gives a warning and stops the machine before the metal can reach the cutting knives.
