If you need to shred transparent materials, all you need to do is to keep your finger on the control on the touch screen for duration of 5 seconds and the shredder will function for 30 seconds, which is sufficient for shredding transparent materials. The Kobra 270 TS C4 Cross Cut Paper Shredder comes with a great energy saving system called "Energy Smart". The shredder automatically goes into energy saving mode if it is left idle for 8 seconds. When new material is added, it automatically restarts itself and starts the operation. When the shredder is kept idle for a couple of hours, it disconnects itself from the mains power supply and switches off the energy smart light to save energy.
The Kobra 270 TS C4 Cross Cut Paper Shredder comes with sturdy steel gears and a metal chain drive system which combine to form a “Super Potential Power System”. The metal chain drive system is much reliable and durable compared to the plastic chain drive systems. It has two sets of cutting blades and separate bags for the separate shredding and collecting of different materials. It goes automatically into Automatic Reverse mode if extra material is inserted into it. This shredder can be fitted with an automatic oiling system which automatically oils the cutting knives thus eliminating the need for automatic oiling.
The Kobra 270 TS C4 Cross Cut Paper Shredder comes with a metal detection system known as "Shred Guard" which warns the user if a metal object is inserted into it. It gives the warning using an illuminated optical indicator so that the user can remove the metal objects before it resumes its operation.
